As the indispensable hub of discovery, learning and creativity, the Texas A&M University Libraries provides not only a myriad of resources and services for students, faculty, and scholars, but also the knowledge and expertise of librarians to navigate this information.

The Friends of the Texas A&M University Libraries supports student and staff success through its efforts to help fund world class research collections, digital resources, exhibits, preservation, programming, and other activities of the University Libraries.

Our Fundraising Efforts

The Friends of the Texas A&M University Libraries raises funds to support special projects and innovative initiatives that enhance the work of the Libraries and the experience of those they serve. Friends funding helps provide resources for projects and opportunities that may fall outside the Libraries’ regular operating budget.

Past fundraising efforts have supported research and helped the Libraries explore new ideas, including the purchase of prototype study pods to evaluate innovative study spaces for students. Most recently, the Friends conducted a special fundraising effort in conjunction with Texas A&M’s Sesquicentennial, providing an opportunity to support commemorating this historic milestone.

Through these efforts, the Friends provides the Libraries with additional resources to test ideas, address emerging needs and pursue opportunities that directly benefit students, faculty, researchers & Library staff.
