2024 Annual Meeting

The Friends encourage you to join us at the 2024 Annual Meeting to be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm in College Station.

The keynote this year is “A CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION OF ART AND NATURE” presented by Andrew Sansom, Co-author of The Art of Texas State Parks: A Centennial Celebration. We’ll also have special guests Linda J. and William E. Reaves with us for the event.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department marked the 100th anniversary of the state park system in 2023. Their centennial offered the perfect occasion to create a lasting visual record of Texas parks in art while memorializing the past and ongoing development of the distinctive collection of Lone Star parks and natural areas.

The 2024 Annual Meeting features a buffet luncheon, the Friends Annual Business Meeting, the keynote presentation and book signing, and a silent auction.
