Friends Preservation Assistance Program

The Friends Preservation Assistance Program is a service offered by the Library Preservation Unit to provide funding and expertise to meet preservation goals of groups across the campus, covering collections or items that are the property of Texas A&M University. Services include training by Library preservationists in collections care, creating preservation-quality containers to house and protect items, conservation of items, and digitization. Through this program, the Preservation unit also provides valuable experience for student workers working on these projects. This program was made possible through a gift from the Friends of the Texas A&M University Libraries.

Joining the Friends or renewing your Friends membership helps continue to fund endeavors such as this.
