REV IT UP at the Library!
On Friday August 18th, the Library kicked off the Fall semester and participated in Howdy Week with their REV IT UP Open House event. Hundreds of students came out to explore the opportunities and resources available at Evans and the Annex.
This year campus academic partners were invited to participate in the Open House, the Academic Success Center, Texas A&M Maroon Base, TAMU Math Learning Center, the Office for Student Success, the University Writing Center, and Disability Resources. Friends of the Texas A&M Libraries were also invited to be a part, with Board members Peggy Nolan and Michael Bolton helping to distribute over 2,000 t-shirts to steady stream of students during the two-hour event. It was exciting to see all levels of students, from freshmen with their families in tow to upper level and graduate students, come out to visit.
The Friends of the Texas A&M University Libraries is excited to continue supporting the success of all of our Aggies through programs and services offered at the libraries across campus. Best of luck to the incoming Class of ’27 and all our Aggies as they enjoy their time on campus and in the Libraries!
